Pokémon GO Fest 2024 Confirmed to Feature Marshadow
After the datamine of the Pokémon GO Fest 2024 logo, fans noticed that there were some "shadowy wisps" reminiscint of the shape of Marshadow's shadow trail. After a few days of waiting, Niantic released a short promotional video to let us know that Go Fest 2024 was certainly happening. At the end of the video, you can hear Marshadow's cry and see its shadow! So, Marshadow is the Mythical Pokémon that will be featured this year!
A ticket was pushed to the game's server indicating that the event will last July 13 and 14 and include a Jangmo-o feature (perhaps releasing the shiny!) Niantic has not given us any additional confirmed details, like the date or which cities will have featured in-person bonuses.
Keep in mind that this is the first time you'll be able to get a Marshadow with your own personal trainer name and ID! Plus, it will be level 15!
We'll have another post up when we get more information. Hopefully there will be some great Pokémon and raids! I'm personally hoping for Mega Mewtwo, but with Shadow Mewtwo returning this month, that seems less likely. Maybe Mega Metagross, which I've been begging to come to the game!
