General Description

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are the first main-series games for Generation 9. They feature the new, open-world region known as Paldea. WIth this open world comes a significant number of improvements and changes to the series. Featuring Koraidon and Miraidon (in Scarlet and Violet respectively), explore the world encountering new Pokémon, challenging gym leaders, battling against Titan Pokémon, and defeating Team Star.

Story Overview

Scarlet and Violet feature three main plot lines, with a final end-game plot that combines them together. You're a new student at Naranja or Uva Academy, and you're told to go out for the Treasure Hunt, an independent study program where you can pick your own path to learn.

The first path is Victory Road, which is the traditional Pokémon progression plot. Travel the region and challenge the gym leaders to obtain badges. Throughout this story line, you'll run into your new friend Nemona. Nemona is your rival and will watch your progress, battling you every so often! Once you have all of the gym badges, you can challenge the Pokémon League to become a Champion!

The second path is the Path of Legends. In this one, you'll find and challenge various abnormally large Pokémon known as Titans across the region. Work with Arven, another new friend, to unravel the mystery behind the Titans and learn more about his past.

The third path is ★ Starfall Street ★. In this path work together with the mysterious Cassiopeia and Clive to take down Team Star. You'll be using the new "Let's Go" mechanic to auto-battle your opponents in each base. At the end of the base is a boss fight with the base's leader!
