Additional Notes

Catch mechanics in Pokémon Legends: Arceus is quite different from the main series games. The game still checks for a modified catch rate, but checks for one successful capture twice instead of requiring three to four successes. The method is much more akin to shiny checks but with two rolls instead of the three provided by shiny charm. Due to this change, the game is more generous than other games in the series likely due to the dominance of catching in the game.

Special thanks to Anubis for the datamining and for figuring out all of the mechanics. Her original write-up can be found here. Her original calculator is also on Google Sheets here.
