Legends: Z-A Donut Maker

The Legends: Z-A Donut Maker is a comprehensive donut crafting simulator for Pokémon Legends: Z-A. Use this tool to simulate a single donut or get a full statistical breakdown of chances for various abilities.

In the game, you make donuts with Ansha to get various effects in Hyperspace Distortions. There's a significant amount of RNG behind how this works mechanically. This tool aims to help eliminate the uncertainty around the contributions of different berries for specific abilities.

This calculator will also help you craft Special Donuts (the ones needed to encounter Darkrai, Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, and Zeraora).

How to Use the Donut Maker

1. Select berries from the list. You can add up to 8 ingredients, just like in the game.
   • The berries are in "reverse" menu order to prioritize powerful berries you likely want to use.
   • You can also filter by name in the search bar, or select a flavor button to see only berries that contribute to that flavor.
   • You can remove berries by clicking on them in the "bench" or by pressing the clear button.
2. Select a target (optional).
   • If you are trying to craft a Special Donut, select the target species from the dropdown.
   • The tool will compare your flavor scores to the requirements, and if they aren't met it falls back to a non-Special Donut.
3. Look at and analyze the results.
   • First, you'll see the type of donut, its flavor score, and star rating. The tool also computes the Level Boost and Donut Energy.
   • We've included an "Estimated Duration" field to show approximately how much time the donut will last in Hyperspace Distortions of various star levels. (Note that these are based on community estimates regarding calorie consumption).
4. Check your Powers. There are two ways to view the buffs your donut provides:
   • Probability Mode: Displays the exact percentage chance of rolling specific powers in a donut (all percentages listed are based on any single donut and are not relative. Since you can get up to 3 powers, the total probability will likely exceed 100%). Use this to try and build consistent, reliable recipes.
   • Simulation Mode: Simulates a single donut being made, generating it how the game would. Press "Reroll Simulation" multiple times to see what you might get!
5. Share your recipes! Press the Share button on the donut results to copy the link to a unique URL that pre-loads the exact ingredients for others to see!
