Pokémon Legends: Z-A is set in Lumiose City, several years after the events of the Pokémon X and Y games for the 3DS. The story revolves around the urban redevelopment plan which is aimed at shaping Lumiose City into a place that belongs to both people and Pokémon.

Key Features Introduced
Legends: Z-A introduces no new species of Pokémon, but it does reintroduce Mega Evolutions, which have been missing from the franchise for years. With multiple new Mega Evolutions, the game also focuses on real-time battling through the Z-A Royale and Wild Zones for catching Pokémon.
Mega Dimension DLC
A Paid DLC is available for the game titled "Mega Dimension." This DLC adds additional story content after the main story. It focuses on Hyperspace Lumiose which brings back many Pokémon not present in the base game as well as even more new Mega Evolutions.
