Poltchageist, a Sinistea Divergence, Revealed for Scarlet and Violet DLC
A new Pokémon has been revealed for the Scarlet and Violet DLC: The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero. This Pokémon goes by the name Poltchageist, and though it looks like Sinistea, it's an entirely new species of Pokémon.
Poltchageist is the Matcha Pokémon, and has the Grass/Ghost typing. It will have the ability Hospitality, which heals your ally Pokémon when switching in. Seems like it's a doubles partner!
This Pokémon was revealed through a fun YouTube video titled "The Haunting Tale of Poltchageist" which you can watch here:

The real question now is if the pre-evolution is named Sinistcha or something similar. We'll be sure to report on that when we know for sure! Part 1 of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero will be launching on September 13, 2023 for Scarlet and Violet.
