For the 6th Tera Raid Spotlight Event, Hydregion and Dragapult take center stage. For the next two days, you can challenge these two Dragon-type Pokémon for some decent rewards with friends!

This event runs from January 6, 2023 at 00:00 GMT (or January 5, at 7:00 pm EST) and goes until January 8, 2023 at 23:59 GMT (or January 8, at 6:59 pm EST). To participate, just connect to the Internet in the Poké Portal to update your Tera raid news and they should start appearing online.

Both Hydregion and Dragapult can appear in 4 and 5 star raids, but Hydregion is limited to Pokémon Scarlet and Dragapult is limited to Pokémon Violet. So you'll need to connect online or get with local friends to get the version exclusives.

As per usual, these raids have a chance to be shiny, but the rates are so low you are likely to not see one (the chance is 1/4013.05!).

As for Tera Typing you can get, while they both have a chance for any random Tera type, there is a higher chance that 5-star raids will have Steel for Hydregion and Dragon for Dragapult.

The raids will reward a good amount of candies, Tera shards (two of the current type of the raid plus an additional two for the host), various berries, Nuggets, PP Ups, and Ability Capsules (no Ability Patches in sight!).

Here are the stat blocks for the 5-star raid versions, as the 4-stars are fairly easy.

linkHydregion

  • Level: 75
  • Tera Type: Random (Steel favored)
  • Ability: Hidden Possible
  • Moves: Draco Meteor, Dark Pulse, Nasty Plot, and Slam
  • Additional Moves: Scary Face and Work Up

linkDragapult

  • Level: 75
  • Tera Type: Random (Dragon favored)
  • Ability: Hidden Possible

  • Additional Moves: Will-O-Wisp and Dragon Dance

Have fun raiding these two psuedo-legendary dragons!
