Hisuian Typhlosian, Samurott, and Decidueye in front of some water for the new Timeless Travels Pokemon Go season

The next Season for Pokémon GO was announced this morning. During December through March, we'll be treated to the Timeless Travels season. This season features the Hisui region, with more releases of Pokémon first revealed in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. They're also showing some focus on routes, party play, showcases, and more!

The promotional artwork and trailer show Hisuian Decidueye, Hisuian Typhlosian, Hisuian Samurott, and Wyrdeer, with a few hints that a few others are on their way. Beyond those already listed, Go is still missing Hisuian Zorua/Zoroark, Basculegion, Enamorus (both Therian and Incarnate), Hisuian Sligoo and Goodra, and Hisuian Liligant. It seems likely that over the next few months we'll get most, if not all, of these remaining Pokémon.

At the end of the trailer, we got to see Palkia and Dialga silhouettes, which means we'll likely be getting Origin Forme Palkia and Dialga as part of the Go Tour 2024 Event! More details on that as they come!

There are raid day events coming up as well, with Hisuian Samurott's debut on December 3, 2023. More details to come in a follow up post for this specific event. We'll likely get the other two starters throughout the season.

The trailer also showed a new hiker character associated with the routes, so maybe they'll be adding more features to routes? Routes are really underwhelming right now, so hopefully they do. Also, is this the first time we've seen a Pokémon character with a massive tablet? I think we've only really seen smaller devices...

There was also a glimpse of Shadow Ho-Oh, so that's probably going to be the next shadow raid boss.

Here's the trailer that they released with the announcement (and a link to their post):

We're looking forward to this new season for Pokémon GO! We'll be sure to publish more as we get more details about upcoming events, so stay tuned!
