Community Day Classic: Gible

The Land Shark Pokémon, Gible, is the star of the September 2026 Community Day Classic!

When you evolve Gabite during the event (or up to four hours afterwards), you will get Garchomp that knows the Charged Attack Earth Power (90 power for Trainer Battles, and 100 power for gyms and raids).

Additionally, from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., PokéStops with Lure Modules will continue to spawn Gible with their increased Shiny rate and with the chance to have a Special Background, so that can extend your hunts if the timing doesn't work!

You can also purchase the Community Day Special Research for $1.99 which will give you an additional 3 encounters with Gible with a Special Background, 1 Premium Battle Pass, and 1 Rare Candy XL, plus other goodies.
