Articuno Raid Hour Tonight at 6PM Local in Pokémon GO
Tonight (September 23rd) is Articuno raid hour! Be sure you either head to the gyms or use your Remote Raid Passes to take down the boss and get your shiny! As a reminder, there’s currently a box of 3 Remote Raid Passes for a single coin in the shop.
Every Wednesday night at 6 PM local, Niantic does a special legendary raid hour. Every gym in the game (that doesn’t already have an active raid) will spawn a legendary raid that will last the whole hour. If you can get with a group, you can complete many raids within the hour. Remote raiding is also available, so folks at home can raid if they have friends that invite them!
Legendary Pokémon have an estimated shiny rate of 1/20 (5%), so it’s fairly easy to get. It may take a few raids, but it is much faster than other games.
