Blipbug To Debut in Pokémon GO 2026 Bug Out Event

Details for the 2026 Bug Out event for Pokémon GO have been released. From March 17 to March 23, 2026, the Bug Out 2026 Event will be live. As part of the event, Blipbug (and its evolutions Dottler and Orbeetle) will be released (remember that the Shiny is not releasing).
Event Bonuses
Lure modules will be adjusted throughout the event changing every few days (all times are local times):
- March 17 at 10:00 a.m. to March 19 at 10:00 a.m.
- Paras
- Sizzlipede
- March 19 at 10:00 a.m. to March 21 at 10:00 a.m.
- Cutiefly
- Sizzlipede
- March 21 at 10:00 a.m. to March 23 at 8:00 p.m.
- Combee
- Sizzlipede
Additionally, reaching Major Milestones on the GO Pass will unlock the following:
- Tier 1
- 2x XP for catching after a Nice Throw (or better)
- Tier 2
- 2x Catch Candy
- Go Pass Deluxe: 3x Catch Candy
Wild encounters will include Caterpie, Dwebble, Sizzlipede, Nymble and Scyther.
Blipbug will also be in One-Star Raids and Pinsir, Scizor, and Kleavor will be in Three-Star raids.

The event seems pretty standard, but it's nice to see Blipbug and its family make it into the game. I think they're cute, even if they're not super strong. We might be getting Gigantamax Orbeetle sometime soon too then!
