The "Ghost Dog" Pokémon Greavard is the Latest Reveal for Scarlet and Violet
Pokémon has released the latest teaser trailer for Scarlet and Violet today to reveal the newest Ghost-type Pokémon to the series. This adorable puppy dog is named Greavard, the Ghost Dog Pokémon. You can check out the reveal trailer.
(Side note: this video now marks the second time someone has been attacked on camera for a new Pokémon reveal, the first being the video for Hisuian Zorua and Zoroark)
According to the official Pokémon website, Greavard is pure Ghost-type and will come with the ability Pickup. But watch out, this cute puppy's friendly demeanor comes with a risk as it will slowly absorb the life-force of those around it. It also has jaws that are strong enough to shatter bones! The Pokémon also likes to rest underround while keeping the top of its head (the candle) just above ground waiting for someone to approach.
This marks the second dog revealed for Scarlet and Violet along with Fidough, though we haven't seen an evolution for either one. Greavard also gives me serious Polterpup from Luigi's Mansion vibes. Will you be adding this one to your team?
