Mega Skarmory to Debut in Super Mega Raid Day for Pokémon GO

Mega Skarmory is coming to Pokémon GO at the end of June! Saturday, June 27, 2026 will feature a special Super Mega Raid day with Skarmory. Keep in mind that Super Mega Raids are the difficult version of Mega Raids and will require a lot of trainers to take down, so plan accordingly.

Anyway, on June 27, 2026 between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. local time, you will be able to find these raids. Additionally, the Remote Raid Pass limit will increase from Friday, June 26 at 5:00 p.m. to Saturday, June 27 at 8:00 p.m. (PDT time). You'll also get up to six free Raid Passes from spinning Gyms. There's also an increased chance of getting Shiny Skarmory.

There is also a Timed Research for trainers during the event. Complete research tasks to get a Premium Battle Pass and a Houndoom. There's also an Event Ticket for $4.99 USD which gives an additional 14 Raid Passes from spinning, higher Rare Candy XL chance, and 5k additional XP and Stardust from the Super Mega Raids.

Mega Skarmory is really quite cool. I'm still bummed that we have to deal with Super Mega Raids, but that's the only way to get it. At least the rewards are good. Good luck trainers!
