Mega Metagross Joins Pokémon GO With a Raid Day
It's finally time, Mega Metagross is joining the fray!
After years of waiting, one of my all time favorite Mega Evolutions is finally making its way to Pokémon GO. That's right, Mega Metagross will finally be available! On October 4, Mega Metagross will be the star of its very own Raid Day!
From 2:00 p.m. to 5 p.m. local on October 4, Mega Metagross will be in Mega Raids (of course, you might find a shiny one with a boosted shiny rate!). Metagross encountered in raids will also know Shadow Claw (which may be good for PvP?).
Everyone will receive an additional 5 free Raid Passes for spinning Gym Photo Discs (that's six total). The Remote Raid limit will also be upped to 20!
There will also be a ticket for $4.99 USD that grants the following:
- Additional eight raid passes (for spinning Gym Photo Discs)
- Increased Rare Candy XL chance
- +5,000 XP from Raid Battles
- 2x Stardust from Battles
Mega Metagross is extremely powerful. This is one to get.
