Pokémon Champions 1.1.0 Update: Official Mega Abilities, Returning Favorites, and Competitive Changes

The latest update for Pokémon Champions is available now on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. The game also launches on Mobile today, so make sure you check out the game there. Anyway, the RotomLabs Pokémon Champions database has been updated for version 1.1.0.
This update has a bunch of Pokémon returning, a few moves returning, and has finally given us the abilities for many of the new Mega Pokémon introduced in Legends: Z-A. Here are some highlights from the game update!
New Mega Abilities: Eelevate and Fire Mane
Eelevate and Fire Mane are brand new abilities introduced in Pokémon Champions.
Mega Eelektross gets Eelevate, which is effectively like Levitate, making it immune to Ground-type moves, as well as other hazards like Spikes, Toxic Spikes, and Sticky Web. However, Eelevate also gets a "Beast Boost" effect, which will raise the highest stat by one stage every time it secures a knockout.
Mega Pyroar gets Fire Mane, which really just grants a flat 50% boost to all of its Fire-type attacks. Seems pretty good.
Other Abilities for Mega Evolutions
Here's the rundown of all other Megas introduced in Legends: Z-A that finally have official abilities:
- Mega Raichu X gets Electric Surge
- Mega Raichu Y gets No Guard
- Mega Staraptor and Mega Malamar get Contrary
- Mega Barbaracle gets Tough Claws
- Mega Dragalge gets Regenerator
- Mega Falinks gets Defiant
- Mega Scrafty gets Intimidate
- Mega Scolipede gets Shell Armor
These all seem to fit the Pokémon quite well! Hopefully they'll shake up the ladder.
Returning Pokémon in Pokémon Champions
There are quite a few Pokémon that are now part of Regulation M-B, including all of the Megas above. We also get to see the return of the Hoenn first-partner (starter) Pokémon, as well as some competitive menaces like Annihilape and Gholdengo. I'm sure things will get shaken up quite a bit!
Here's a list of Pokémon now returning:

Returning Moves and Items, With Some Changes
Additionally, Topsy-Turvy, No Retreat, Spirit Break, Barbe Barrage, Make it Rain, and Rage Fist are all entering the game as usable moves again.
Note that Make it Rain and Rage Fist have been nerfed. Make it Rain has an accuracy nerf and will now make Gholdengo's Special Attack drop by 2 stages instead of just 1. Rage Fist is no longer boosted on switch out, it will reset instead. Double Shock's PP was increased from 5 to 8 as well.
And finally, there are a few more returning items. You can now also hold the following items (including all of the Mega stones for the Megas listed above):
- Big Root
- Damp Rock
- Expert Belt
- Heat Rock
- Icy Rock
- Iron Ball
- Life Orb
- Light Clay
- Metronome
- Muscle Band
- Shed Shell

- Wide Lens
