Pokémon GO March Community Day: Scorbunny
For the March 2026 Pokémon GO Community Day, we'll be getting the Rabbit Pokémon, Scorbunny! This was previously teased, but now we have full event details.
Event Details
Event date and time: March 14, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time
Evolving Raboot into Cinderace will give it Blast Burn.
Additionally, Cinderace will be able to learn Pyro Ball (75 power for Trainer Battles, and 150 power for Gyms and Raids).
Event Bonuses
These are the bonuses you can expect from Scorbunny Community Day:
- 1/4 Egg Hatch Distance
- 2x Catch Candy
- 2x chance of Candy XL
- Incense will last for three hours
- Snapshots with Scorbunny
- Lure Modules will last for one hour
- Two total Special Trades
- Trades require 50% less Stardust
There will also be a Community Day Special Research, which will give 3 Special Background Scorbunny, and a few other items.
Lure modules from 2:00 p.m. will have a high chance of spawning Scorbunny with the elevated Shiny chance. So if you can't play during the normal hours, you have a big window.
Additional Thoughts
Scorbunny is just a cute bunny! The Shiny Galar starter first-partner Pokémon are now complete! I'm hopeful the new additional moves will also make Cinderace more useful in battles especially as a Gigantamax attacker. We'll have to see how things shake up though!
