Pokémon GO to Debut Mega Victreebel and Mega Malamar At GO Tour 2026
Pokémon GO Tour 2026 is shaping up to be an interesting event! As part of the event, Mega Victreebel and Mega Malamar will be making their debut! On February 20-22, 2026 at the Los Angeles event and Tainan event, ticket holders will get the first chance for Mega Energy on their ticket day. Then, on February 28 and March 1, 2026 they will debut globally.
For ticket holders at the Los Angeles and Tainan events, they will be available on park day, during the citywide experience, and during Mega Night. Players at the events will be able to get Location Backgrounds for Raids and Mega Raids. Note that global players joining these raids remotely will not get Mega Energy.
For global event players, Mega Victreebel will be on February 28 and Mega Malamar will be on March 1. Special Backgrounds for Mega Evolution are available for all Mega Raid Bosses.
Additionally there will be X and Y insipired Special backgrounds during the event for Pikachu, Honedge, Xerneas, and Yveltal. There's also a Special Branching Research focused on Xerneas and Yveltal.
Pikachu and Honedge can get the X or Y background. Xerneas can get the X background. Yveltal can get the Y background. Any Mega Raid Boss can get the Mega background.The event looks to be shaping up nicely!
