Everything Announced During Pokémon Presents 2026

This year is the 30th anniversary of Pokémon! Today, The Pokémon Company had a Pokémon Presents video showing off a whole slew of updates for the franchise. This post contains all of the major announcements!

Note: This post will be updated as the event goes on and will have news split into other posts as we get more information and throughout the day!

Game Music Collection

A small handheld device that lets you swap cartridges to listen to music from the games. Available at the Pokémon Center starting today!

Pokémon 2026 World Championships

A brief announcement for the Pokémon 2026 World Championships in San Francisco was shown, reminding folks that this year's experience will be larger than ever! They also announced the PokémonXP event featuring interactive exhibits, panels, workshops, collaborations, and the Pokémon Pop-Up store. They also showed a really neat image that is the theme of the event.

Pokémon Trading Card Game Set Updates

They showed off a cool trailer celebrating 30 years of the card game! Looks to be a preview of what's to come for the TCG, though no full announcement was made yet.

Pokémon GO Spotlight Showing Celebration Event

A ton of Pokémon will be returning. We'll make a full post for the Pokémon GO fans, but this is the trailer they showed for that.

Pokémon Masters EX gets Red from Red and Blue

Red, styled after his art from Red and Blue will be making an appearance in the game with other features!

Pokémon Café Remix

Lots of new costumes and outfits were shown off in a minor reel, including Starter Pokémon!

Pokémon Sleep Mew Missions

Beginning tonight, Mew will be appearing in Pokémon Sleep.

Pokémon Unite

Pokémon Unite announced that Zapdos, Moltres, and Articuno will be arriving soon. They also announced Meganium, Feraligatr, and Typhlosion for a future update!

TCG Pocket Paldean Wonders

Starting now, the latest set is starting to be revealed.

Pokémon XD Gale of Darkness Releasing on NSO GameCube Classics March 2026

FireRed and LeafGreen Will get HOME Support

They confirmed that FireRed and LeafGreen will be getting HOME Support!

Pokémon Champions Release Date April 2026

A long trailer showing off Pokémon Champions was revealed highlighting new gameplay footage and people playing the game. They also confirmed the release for 2026! You can read more about what we know in this post. Note that the phone and mobile apps for Champions will release later than the Switch version.

Mega Dimension DLC News Update - Mega Garchomp Z

An additional update for Legends: Z-A's Mega Dimension DLC was shown. The video highlighted all of the new Mega Evolutions revealed in the game, and confirmed Mega Garchomp Z.

After the event, a Mystery Gift unlocking an encounter with Mega Garchomp Z, which you must defeat will be available. You will then get the Mega Stone required for the evolution.

Pokémon Pokopia News Showing off Stereo Rotom

A Rotom possessing a Stereo was revealed for Pokémon Pokopia. You can collect CDs and listen to music from the games through Stereo Rotom! They also showed off other new features in the game. There's a full trailer with information here:

Pokémon Winds and Waves Revealed

This needs its own post, but Generation 10 was revealed!

All we know is that it will be launching on Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027, and we got to see the first-partner Pokémon. You can read the full news post with everything we know about Winds and Waves.
